Hate this song, hate Clapton, the same guy who committed adultery with George Harrison’s wife.

That's how the whole thing strikes me too.

I think she enjoyed the power she had over men, and she put on this "oops I did it again" act, while loving it.

I haven't any first-hand knowledge at all, but it's my impression that Clapton was not a very likable guy.

It must have hurt like hell when she walked away from George.

On the other hand, maybe he was sick of her by then. Who knows. Beautiful women make you pay; the price is high.

I don't think George had too much trouble finding female companionship.

I've always had the impression she would have enjoyed it if the two had come to blows over her. Her looks could have gotten someone killed.

George handled it really well, very maturely. He was an intelligent man.

I have never liked Clapton.

Personally he was offputting.
Musically (my opinion) highly overrated.

There was only one Clapton song that I truly loved.
I attribute that affection more to the contribution made
on it by Marcy Levy than to Clapton’s work.

I wish Levy had recorded it with someone else.

It’s rarely heard on the radio, but here ‘tis -
