Gergen didn't mince words last night on CNN, as Trump's victory lap last night in Cincinnati met with scorn and derision from the CNN contributor.
"This is goodbye to American leadership in the world. Goodbye to globalization. He’s bringing America home. He’s going to lead a nativist, nationalistic, populist movement and if you want to join up with him fine. If you don’t, forget it.”

It is not fake that David Gergen is a longtime treacherous pseudo-conservative who has no right to speak on behalf of conservatives.

Obama and Hillary destroyed American leadership of the world. As Putin plainly stated, we were no longer an exceptional country. We cannot lead the world. Now Trump can actually reestablish trust in American leadership and eventually that should change our leadership capabilities.
