Here in NY we use those foil dash board covers and leave the windows cracked a half inch

I spent most of my life in Connecticut and am familiar with the foil/cardboard dash covers. That would get old to do that six months a year instead of two. Also, the front side windows need protection, too. If you use those suction cup screens, that is an even bigger nuisance.

In any event, the guy with the parking tickets parked in Florida, that does not have the same anti-tint restrictions as NY.

Way back in the fifties, when I was in high school, there was this urban legend floating around about some guy who died in a Thunderbird, and his body stayed there for (six) months.

They just can't get the smell out.

But the Thunderbird was supposed to be really, really cheap, like $25 or so.

We all looked, but never found the car, unfortunately.

Each parking cop who gave a ticket to the suv should be reprimanded for neglecting their duty.

In the Sunshine State, you’re allowed to have some pretty dark tint. 80% on the side windows iirc. Windshield can only be tinted at the top 6 inches but some people put a light tint overall. Not many though but is the sides and rear are dark, it is hard to see inside.
Having lived in Broward for a few years, ummm, there’s a lot of not too alert people working in the gov simply to meet quotas.
