Update: Elpida just changed their logo! I’m glad Freepers here were able to see it live from their FaceBook before they did.
I think I was one of the few that got to see Alfantes’s Instagram account pictures before he made it go private. It gives it a whole different feeling to browse an account live vs. seeing someone share archived photos.
Saw that they changed it.
Besta Pizza changed theirs as well.
This is a pretty interesting development.
Arguments pro and con. On one hand, if my business had a logo that was associated with something horrible and I just learned about it, I’d change it, too. On the other hand, what is the probability that two businesses with personal connections to each other would both have such a logo and both change it at the same time?
The fact that they changed it means that the controversy is now in the public eye.
According to a few here, there was nothing to be ashamed of. Wonder why this organization would go to so much trouble as change their official logo then, just as Besta Pizza in D.C.?
