There’s a New Google Chrome Extension That Will Replace ‘Alt-Right’ With ‘White Supremacy’
Mediaite ^ | 11/29/16 | Ken Meyer

A New York advertiser is taking it upon himself to make sure that the “alt-right” never becomes normalized in the public consciousness.

George Zola” is the alias of a web professional who spoke with Huffington Post about his new a Google Chrome extension, “Stop Normalizing The Alt Right.” The app works by automatically taking out all mentions of “alt-right,” and replacing the term with “white supremacy.”

“I don’t want this term to be sugar coated, I want it to instantly make [people] recoil in the same way most recoil when thinking of white supremacists or white nationalists groups,” said Zola. “They’re scary, dangerous, and it’s important we stop the normalization of this before it gets out of hand. History shows us how quickly these movements can spiral out of control.”

According to the extension’s website, the app’s purpose is to prevent white nationalist sentiment from being sanitized. Zola said that that he created the app to show unity with minority groups who have faced increased abuse in the current sociopolitical climate.

The alt-right has been tied to Donald Trump‘s rise, with the rationale that the President-elect’s inflammatory rhetoric has emboldened Neo-Nazis and white supremacists who support him. Various news figures have started debating about whether Trump’s antics will cause fringe and objectionable viewpoints to go mainstream.

“Lots of politicians use coded language & dog whistles to appeal to people’s racism,” said Zola. “But Trump was more brazen and open about it than any major candidate in recent history, and for him to prevail with these tactics is a scary precedent.

LOL, when I hear that, I assume someone is just being silly.

Sigh. Not only do we have rampant political-correctness which even if you don’t observe it, requires you to parse what others are saying, but we also have this obfuscation by this explosion of things that are somehow “right” for a digital age, even if there are tried and true words with real meaning available.

Look at LOL. I am fully on board with that one, because it displays the exact same meaning that everyone understands equally with far greater efficiency.

I despise getting emails that look like someone was typing them in a text message.

They’re scary, dangerous

Almost as scary as ending up living in Mexico or Zimbabwe?

Somehow I can't equate America in 1960 (90% white) with either of those places. It was rather peaceful as I recall.

We did have "issues" in the South, but solving that didn't mean we needed to commit national suicide.

"...Lots of politicians use coded language & dog whistles to appeal to people’s racism,” said Zola...

HAHAHAHAHAHA...isn't "dog whistle" a leftist "dog whistle" for anything they want to assign a negative meaning to without having to man up and actually say it because they won't have a leg to stand on if they do?

Pathetic, ball-less, pieces-of-crap.

How about we make one that translates “Democrat” to “booger-eating commie traitor” and “Google” to “hegemonic internet search monopolist”?

As well as posts and articles which are littered with Twitter hashtags all over the place, even some here on FR.

Whenever I open an article or post and see a bunch of hashtags I will immediately click it off.

No Thanks.

Well what is he doing about the Black supremacist and the Mexican supremacist and Muslim supremacist?

Or is it just White People that have to be put in their place when they advocate for their rights.

Heh, great one. Why not have a extension that replaces "dog whistle" with "pussified liberal phrase to use when a liberal is too much of a sissy to come out and say what they really think".

I don’t use any of those, but I admit I find the humor in it when someone uses a well placed #LiberalGirlyManNannyStatist or something like that.

But that’s about it for me. Don’t use Facebook, Twitter or any form of social media.

I guess I am just anti-social!

Heh, I liked the last red underlined item on that graphic...

How come they never call me to review their “coverage” and ask for “suggestions”?

The people identified as the major thinkers of the alt-right by the platform for the alt-right say that the one thing that defines and unites the alt-right is the centrality of race.

I hate the name Alt-right because it lets the left news sites equate it with right or conservatism. It is rarely conservative other than its against immigration. But its likely nationalistic. Since the democrat party has turned itself into an ethnic and immigrant or lets just say the Anti-Caucasian party. Its no wonder the Alt-right has formed in response. Its the left that has shed its union, pro-worker roots in favor of its current, all evils can be traced back to whitey, philosophy.

The current Trump party is less conservative than it is pragmatic and anti-globalist. While not a perfect fit, it has joined with the conservative party to form a coalition. A separate group, the Alt-right, seems to be the party that more directly answers the anti-white sentiment of the democrats. While Trump is answering the, everything is not about race, crowd. Or we have a country to govern. Lets worry about that first, party.

Two groups have been disenfranchised in this new realignment. American workers have moved toward the new republican coalition. While many of them voted for Obama in the past believing in his pro-labor rhetoric. They now see it to be secondary to his globalist efforts and his pro-ethnic favoritism.

Another group that had been traditionally republican has been moving democrat for the past 20 years and that is the large business lobby. They have realized that friendly globalism helps them get cheap workers. And buying both democrat and republican politicians is more productive than buying one or the other. So large business has tended to throw its money and support to the party of the bureaucrats and the easy immigration and easy trade party. While small businesses have stayed republican.

Trump is nationalistic. He is America first. And by that he means Americans first. Not American money and not American companies, but Americans first. He is not anti-black, anti-muslim, or anti-hispanic. He is pro-Americans. So all decisions start with, whats best for Americans regardless of whether your black, white, gay, women, Hispanic or Asian. If your a citizen your in the club. If not, you get respect, but not favor.

I have written a lot of chrome extensions. It isn’t hard once you know what you are doing.

Maybe, I should get a gofundme and a list of suggestions for what Freepers want changed. Make it an easy to turn on and off app - like right click and select from menu to translate leftist dribble.

lol

The COM-Left is behaving as Stalinists do, just as Orwell said they would.

Bet they don’t find the urge to identify the Communist and Anrchist involvement in BLM, “peace protests”, “Hate Trump” riots, etc etc.
