WHITEHOUSE Following the passing of Cuban leader Fidel Castro, President Obama would like to extend his deepest sympathy to the family and friends of President Castro as well as to the people of Cuban:
Not only are myself and Michelle, but the nation, indeed the world, are mourning the passing of not only a historic leader, but a man of the people of the island nation of Cuba. Of all of my signature achievements, and there are many, perhaps the one I am most proud of was opening the doors to normalization of relations between our nations. America, as a nation, has transgressed in many ways. Turning our backs on a neighbor, one who reached out to us is one of many stains which haunt us as a country. I have done my small part in many ways to heal these wounds. I have reached out and I have connected with people in ways that no other President has been able to do. And I say all of this with the modesty for which I am well known.
The President has ordered all federal buildings to lower the flag to half-mast.
It wouldn't surprise me if Barky didn't order the Cuban flag to be flown above the US flag.
Yup, he never talks about himself.
Good one.
The true question is should the Castro remains be disinfected before they are flushed.
What’s that smell?
“CREMATION ZONE ‘DEAD’ AHEAD”. One way or another, this POS is gonna get a warm reception. He and che can once again sit down and talk s**t. Possibly overthrow the devil and take over hell?
I am not mourning the passing of the murderous communist.
I am celebrating with the free Cubans of Miami.
"We know that this moment fills Cubans in Cuba and in the United States with powerful emotions, recalling the countless ways in which Fidel Castro altered the course of individual lives, families, and of the Cuban nation. History will record and judge the enormous impact of this singular figure on the people and world around him."
Not surprising.
My favorite is the cupcake in glasses behind and between the two dykes.
Whoa - you almost had me.
"We're not quite sure what his legacy will be."
Not good satire- didn’t say “I” enough.
It's pretty close to the real statement by Canada's boy toy Prime Minister.
