Back when I was just out of college I bought 3 guns from someone at my same company. I bought a 50-70 Sharps Carbine, A Colt New Model Police 36 cal percussion cap revolver and a Colt 45ACP Series 70 Gold Cup. I still have all. Rifles or pistols, The Gold Cup is my favorite. I bought all the upgrade parts I wanted and had a gunsmith fit all of it. I have never fired a finer gun.
I forgot to add, I negotiated a price of $300 for each gun, but that was years ago.
