Kanye West fans booed, even threw things at the rapper last night at his show at SAP Center in San Jose. It had nothing to do with his music.
Kanye West is a huge star, his fans are loyal. That's why they were willing to spend up to $160 for a ticket to his show here at the sap center. Some just wished he would have talked less.
"Even though he ranted all night it was a good show," said a concertgoer.
"What did you think of the rant?" asked ABC7's Matt Keller.
"I loved it and hated it at the same time," said a concertgoer.
Videos posted on social media shows Kanye did more talking than performing. That frustrated a lot of the audience, some even threw shoes on to the stage.
One of the statements that received the most boos was when Kanye told the crowd he didn't vote, but would have voted for Donald Trump and that he was going to run for president in 2020. Kanye also had this to say about racism in America.
Kanye told the crowd at SAP Center: "specifically to black people, stop focusing on racism. This world is racist ok? Let's stop being distracted to focus on that as much. It is just a expletive fact. We are in a racist country. Period," said Kanye.
One concert goer from Cupertino said he walked out early because Kanye decided to talk his whole concert. He sent a message to TicketMaster asking for a refund. Kanye's Saint Pablo tour will be in Sacramento tomorrow.
...
.not the brightest bulb on a string of lights
I walked out.
I threw my shoe up there and that cleared about a 6 by 6 foot space.
We are in a racist county? Where do they get this crap?
Walked out or where carted out? Or was part of the stage?
lol
Yes, this country is so "racist" that a mediocre black lawyer and community organizer was elected President, and a vile black hoodlum like Kanye West became a multi-millionaire and a cultural icon for recordings and performances of his foul-mouthed gibberish.
No sir, blacks just can't get ahead in this racist country of ours.
Your point is well taken. West was babbling
Still
“Yes, this country is so “racist” that a mediocre black lawyer and community organizer was elected President..”
He was elected and then coddled because he was black. Theres something wrong right there.
I’d be PO’d too if I paid to see a concert and got a 40 minute lecture.
Am I going to be called a racist in perpetuity for not electing a super rich old white woman supported by every billionaire 1 percenter in the country (except one)
Is this a misprint? Or did I miss a thug endorsement?
Who would seriously go see this guy? I’ve never heard of a single song he sings, I don’t get it?
Many A-A's are all done up on racism between black people. Who's light-skinned, who's dark skinned. Did a dark-skinned celebrity start going out with a light-skinned black woman. Major, major, major.
“Many A-A’s are all done up on racism between black people. Who’s light-skinned, who’s dark skinned.”
Oddly enough, Spike Lee covered that issue of black-on-black racism in the movie “School Daze” a few decades ago.
A grain of truth there. All humans are naturally racist to some degree. The USA just happens to be the least racist country on earth.
I really like her music, but they had tables set up with people selling gear and handing out pamphlets about saving whales.
She gave a long lecture about whales at the beginning of the concert, and then added more every 2-3 songs.
It got out of hand.
Even though I had seen her several times, I never went to another concert.
I like whales - no problem.
But here in Colorado we are sort of land locked and there aren't too many of them in the mountains.
He was actually considered for the vice presidency. Here’s the proof:

Isn’t rapping just uttering a bunch of rhyming nonsense anyway. Oh, and tossing in various swear words and reference to sound street-tough. Tourettes or repeated blows to the head would seem more helpful than musical talent.
