Tomorrow, I hope that you will take the time to put all lessons aside and talk to our students about what has happened and how they feel. Please, let them speak and be heard. Let them say what is on their minds, this is crucial for our school and our community. Let us please not sidestep the fact that a racist and sexist man has become the president of our country by pandering to a huge racist and sexist base.

This really is a prime example of deranged thinking.

YES! I was listening to KSFO when they were talking about this and a number of callers provided anecdotes of their children being harassed for not following the herd of sheep in condemning the president elect.
Flood the courts with lawsuits on all these cases. Of course in this case when the school checks with their lawyers and finds no proof they will have to change the plan. But tell them they have to publish an apology and retraction or the suit is still on.
Yup. That’s the world I live in. Doesn’t surprise me.
