IIRC, all the sick stuff came out after her kids were grown and started talking...and writing.

She was probably bi-polar but nobody knew as much about it back then.

Helen Hayes was one star who backed up those children. She was a friend of Joan’s and admitted that she did nothing to stop the abuse. I think Joan was a raging alcoholic. Those famous late night events were when she was completely drunk.

Is PepsiCo. going to change their can designs and mural ad campaign to echo Trump’s election statements as they did when Obama won in 2008?

Make America Great Again?

And the only way of ushering in that better life, the only way of moving forward as a country, is by walking together, hand-in-hand.”

I will NEVER walk 'hand in hand' with people who are comfortable killing unborn children and who were comfortable starting a nuclear war with Russia.

Ocean Spray is not a subsidiary of Pepsico, they have a distribution deal with them, but are not part of the company.

4 years ago I had severe foot problems that stopped me from walking, and I gained 45 pounds. I had a complicated foot operation and minimal activity post op for months. I added another 20 pounds.

I went on the paleo diet with basically no carbs, zero processed food and no food with added sugars. Also, zero so called diet foods like oleo. I ate real foods that satisfied my appetite. I lost 40 pounds in a few months.

Later we went on a modified Mediterranean food plan. Again basically no carbs, refined sugar and any processed foods. My wife has converted part of our kitchen counter to a snack bar with fruit, veggies, nuts and other good foods.

My walking increased to at least a mile a day once a day.

I dropped another 20 pounds, and have been there for about 2 years. We eat a lot of salmon and other ocean fish, chicken, beef or pork once a week. We eat fresh veggies and fruit throughout the day as well as at meals.

I grill our meats/fish/chicken/veggies 5-6 evenings per week if it isn’t raining. When it is raining my wife prepares the meal on a cookie sheet with a piece parchment paper between the sheet and the meal in her convection oven. I fix a lot of one pot stews with real bacon, veggies and stock in the winter time.

During that time my BP dropped to a nice low normal, and I stopped my bp meds.

I have a cardiac missed beat, pvc, and recently I had an echo gram and saw a new cardiologist. He couldn’t believe the result of the new echo gram and my current ekg versus ones 2-3 years ago.

He wanted to know what I had done to drop and maintain the weight loss, dc my bp med and be in good shape for a guy close to 80 years old. He told me to keep up the good work, see him in a year, and I might need some plumbing/heart wise in my mid 90’s. That was the his recommendation, “Keep on doing what I was doing.

“Our employees are all crying, and the question that they are asking, especially those that are not white: ‘Are we safe?’ Women are asking, ‘Are we safe?’ LGBT people are asking, ‘Are we safe?’

The appropriate answer is in the form of a question. "Do you intend to engage in any unsafe activities? No? Are you present in the country legally? Yes? Then you are safe."
