The next great battle for conservatives: Keeping RINO insiders out of the administration
Conservative Review ^ | November 13, 2016 | Daniel Horowitz

Posted on 11/13/2016 8:49:30 AM PST by Excellence

It’s no secret that Donald Trump is as much of a blank slate on policy as anyone who’s ever been elected president. Both supporters and opponents of the president-elect agree that Trump is still very malleable on many issues and has a lot to learn about both foreign and domestic policy. This is why it is critical for conservatives to win the ‘battle of personnel’ in the coming days. Failure to land conservative outsiders in key cabinet and advisory roles would be akin to failing to establish control of the beach head during the Normandy invasion. We can dream of our policy battles once we get a footing on land, but if the same RINO insiders who broke the system are allowed to control the administration, we will immediately fall back in the sea, rendering the entire election moot.  - See more at: https://www.conservativereview.com/commentary/2016/11/next-great-battle-for-conservatives-keeping-rino-insiders-out-of-the-administration#pq=w1BNbW

Takedown of Christi, who is already out, Corker, McCaul, and Rodgers. The trick is to get this information to Trump, and let him know how displeased we will be if he brings any of these idiot traitors into his administration .

Don't let "advisors" talk Trump into going soft on promises like building "The Wall".

The list of traitor isn't that small — Remember that the Corker amended bill passed with all but two senate votes.
We should not allow any of those traitors even respite, much less a position of influence/power.

It’s inevitable he’ll have to put some RINOS in jobs in his administration. As long as he keeps them out of major cabinet posts such as the Secretaries of State, Defense, and Treasury I think we can live with that. For example, I hear John Bolton’s name out there as a possible Secretary of State. He’s a smart and able man, but he has way too many ties to the Bush crowd, so he’s a NO for sure.

ROTFLOL!

Mark Levin’s Conservative Review ringing the clarion call for excluding RINO’s from the Trump administration? They’ve got to be kidding! If they’re truly serious about this, then they should self-immolate as a practical symbol of their own advice.

I have my doubts that Trump is really considering Corker. Seems like misinformation from the media.

Just bear in mind that there is a difference between having worked in DC and done a competent job and being a “RINO insider”. There’s nothing wrong (and much to be said for) having people who know what they’re doing stay in jobs as long as they are not political. But virtually everyone in a partronage job (political appointees) have to go, and a lot of others who have crossed the line (such as anyone who is identified in Wikileaks as aiding and abetting).

Time for the “conservatives” to take a deep breath. MOST of the “conservative” media were #Never Trumpers. You are not now going to ride in now and claim leadership.

Trump is not going to make the same mistake Obama Democrats did. Democrats looked at election 2008 and assumed that that gave them a mandate to impose their ideological dogmas on the country. That why they rammed through Obamacare despite massive protests against it. That was a critical mistate.

Obamacare is one of the reasons the Democrats are currently in the worse political postion as a party they have been in since 1928.

I dunno - how about Lindsay Graham for SecDef?

Not only do I think he would be good at it, it would give South Carolina a do-over to provide America with a far more conservative, worthwhile replacement in the Senate...

"...how about Lindsay Graham for SecDef

Better yet, put him in charge of the EPA or the Dept of Education and then halt all funding to that department and shut it down AFTER a new senator has been elected/appointed from South Carolina.

I don’t think trump will have difficulties getting rid of a cabinet level person that does not perform will. he is result oriented not party political philosophy dogma. this means if a liberal gets in and trump feels he is doing the job he will stay if the person does not do the job they are out.
