Robert Vaughn was the LAST surviving cast member of the Magnificent Seven
Have the complete collection on DVD. Watch an episode every weekend.
I enjoyed The Man from UNCLE. I always assumed the first two letters stood for United Nations.
According to Wikipedia this morning, the acronym was:
United Network Command for Law and Enforcement
I suppose that could still be the United Nations.
Also, according to Wikipedia:
“U.N.C.L.E. headquarters is in New York City near the lower East 40’s United Nations.”
I’m not a fan of the United Nations (dictators’ club), nor of one-world government and “international law.”
Nonetheless, as a youth I found the show enterntaining.
I have been watching “The Lieutenant” on GetTV on Saturday mornings with Gary Lockwood (Lt Rice) and Robert Vaughn (Captain Rambridge).

I always liked both Robert Vaughn and David McCallum. On another note, I was surprised to see Dolph Lundgren show up as a Russian crime boss on "Arrow" this past Wednesday. Guess he'll be a regular for now.
Great role as the coward-turned-hero in “Magnificent Seven”
:)
My favorite Vaughn role:
The flawed Chester Gwynn in The Young Philadelphians with Paul Newman.
Back when movies were movies.
Hadn't known that...thanks for the info.
Enjoyed his work. RIP.
The scariest moment for me in The Bridge at Remagen is when the German officer portrayed by Robert Vaughn is about to be executed for failing to prevent the bridge’s capture by the Americans. The firing squad takes aim.
He hears American bombers overhead and thinks of them as liberating Germany from Hitler. Knowing he will never see that day, the fear and yearning in his eyes in the last moment of life are haunting.
I was just messin with you. I had to teach a you man the other day what clock wise was, but he still fixed my phone so we were’re even
He was great in SOB too look at IMBD man he has had one busy busy life
The German officer trying to blow up the BRIDGE AT REMAGEN.
I’m happy it was a short battle.
RIP.
He was VERY ANTI-WAR back in the 1960s.
Duckie is still kicking AFAIK
ILLYA, watched it own the books.
Which was why I was so disappointed in the new Tarzan book. I own all of Burroughs Tarzan, Venus, Mars, and some odds he wrote. Screwed the story up. Graphic are great though.
