Cher is disheartened — but not surprised — that Donald Trump seems to have clinched the presidency.
As the Republican presidential candidate inches towards the majority of electoral votes, the 70-year-old singer expressed her frustration as she left Hillary Clinton‘s election night gathering at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
“He’s told us in so many ways who he is. He makes fun of people with handicaps. He’s a racist. He thinks women are body parts. He only sees everyone as how they reflect him,” she said. “We’re just a mirror for him.”

Election in WA state was just straight ram-it-home socialism. Huge tax increases. Inslee won again, though he basically bollocksed everything he laid a hand on here.
Lot of Silicon Sultans on this coast, and Boeing, who does have a plant in South Carolina, that doesn’t have the union problem that WA state’s got.
Currently, every plane built in SC has to come to WA for some sort of refit. They fix that they can phase down their legacy jets and move to SC within 10 years or so.
The Silicon Sultans lost their access to the USG. They may also be facing some campaign finance and other prosecution going forward.
Larry Ellison, however, remained mute.

Last night as I was checking different websites to look for results and predictions, the NY Times seemed to have the best coverage. I hardly ever go to their website, and was extremely surprised at their real-time coverage. Associated Press and Fox didn’t even come close with their predictions. The Times had Trump at 95% probable win far before any of the other outlets. I hate giving them any praise, but on this one, credit is due when deserved. Here’s a link to their map showing county results. Not exactly the same as the one previously posted though.
