Just voted in Fairfax County Virginia. Where are all the dems?

Fairfax County VA is hard-core liberal.

At our voting location we have always been outnumbered by democrats (easy to tell by the sample ballots they get when going in).

Our family has a tradition of voting together. So this morning, we got up, had breakfast (me, the better half, and three college kids), then jumped in the cars to go vote.

There was a line of folks waiting for the republican sample ballot and I did not see one person going over to the democrat table. I couldn't believe my eyes.

I'm not saying this means anything, but that it is a stark contrast to previous elections.

I've vowed not to watch the news today (going hunting instead), but am going to wake up tomorrow for the result.

I can think of no other day where so called Vanity Posts are more appropriate.

The future of the United States of America is on the line for God’s sake and these Threads at least give us some hope that sanity has returned no matter what tomorrow brings.

I’m in a Red county, but blue city outside of NoVa .. when O was up for election, I waited about 20/30 minutes in line to vote. Today I parked outside the polling place, walked in, voted, in my car in under 5 minutes.

I was at my church/ polling station at 0520 HRS--and was behind a dozen people. Anecdotal reports from my brother and coworkers indicate heavy turnout.

It was not until this week that I saw a Hillary Clinton sign on the Fairfax County Parkway--I have seen a couple of Trump signs.

A week ago, a young fellow was biking along the Parkway with a sandwich board sign that read, "Gays for Trump."

Of course, my office mate was grumpy about being woken up at 0130 HRS last night by the Trump rally out in Loudoun County.
