Where Trump and his mouthpieces went wrong was turning this into an attack not on leftism, but on the establishment -- which lumped real Republicans, ideological conservatives, hard working grass roots activists, and even noted military heroes into the same box as Hillary, Obama, Hollywood and the Harvard faculty. Sorry Trumpets -- those people who were winning Republican state seats and governorships for decades -- they weren't the enemy. They were on your side -- and they were slandered by simpleminded shouters. The fallout: a lower, less enthusiastic turnout among Republicans.
Did he not review the voting in the GOP primaries? Record numbers! Trump would not have had the appeal he has had without pointing to the elite class running the show, both GOP and 'rat and (correctly) pointing out how badly the entire cartel has screwed the ordinary American.

What an idiot. The only people with Trump throughout were Newt, Rudy, Palin, and Christie. The rest of them sucked. When Trump was attacked he got no help from Congress.

One needs to look no further than ObamaCare to see that the Republicans in Washington were part of the problem. They were given a majority in Congress after the 2010 midterm elections, and they did nothing to deal with this disaster. Not only that, but the GOP trotted out the one presidential candidate in 2012 who was incapable of presenting a plan to fix this disaster because he himself had implemented his own version of it in Massachusetts when he was the governor.
Despite this, the Republicans managed to win clear majorities in both houses of Congress in 2014. And yet here we are -- two years later, and six f#%&ing years after the abomination known as the "Affordable Care Act" was passed -- and people in this country who are forced to buy unworkable insurance coverage are worse off than ever before.
Here's all the evidence you need to support Trump's broad brush across Democrats and Republicans alike in Washington:
