In the Middle Ages, England produced wine. But the world was warmer then. Heck, Vikings sailed to Nova Scotia and found grapes — they called the land Vinland.
Now, Nova Scotia has no grapes, England doesn’t have a wine industry, and France suffers from hailstones.
Since it’s clearly not because of Global Warming, I think we have to blame racism.
The ice age is upon us.
There will be no wine in France.
They will have to take Algeria again.
They did make a great deal of wine in Algeria, once.
Charles Shaw to the rescue.
Those sure aren’t French wines.
Hail in Burgundy is almost an every year affair. A 20 per cent crop is pretty unusual.
Haven’t muslims made alcohol illegal in France yet?
.
“Hottest year on record”
They really think we’re that stupid too!
.
Global warming.
nope........the muzzys use the vines as targets for emptying their bladders,,,,,lol...
maybe that’ll make the frogs n\mad enuf to kick them out /
It’s got to be George W. Bush’s fault. Apparently, he has really screwed things up in the last eight years.
Trump must have gone over there and bombed the crap out of them so he could make American wine great again.

I live in the Tx Hill Country and in the summer we don’t get the cool nights that Sonoma, Napa or Suisun Valley get. So most of the vineyards here are for show and the wineries buy most of their grapes from the Texas Tech area in West Texas. The new wineries along HWY 290 are springing up as mushrooms. Most of them are not there, yet, but William & Chris make some really good wines. Becker’s Chardonnay is very good but I don’t care much for white wines.
Gosh... it seems like only yesterday when a 93 bourgoueles was all the rage....

We are going to run out of water!
“It takes 872 gallons of water to produce 1 gallon of wine. But if you look at standard servings of each, the race gets closer with about 28 gallons of water needed for 12 fluid ounces of beer and 34 gallons of water needed for 5 fluid ounces of wine.”

Why should we care? This is one of those signs of the apocalypse in the first chapter of the Book of Joel. Hopefully it's just a coincidence.
"...With climate change, Lacroix warned that we may be seeing a “far more capricious environment” for winemakers..."
And it's not "warming" but the much more generic "climate change".
Those tricky French just want to raise their wine prices.
