Can someone please explain to me why Fox News always seems to report/reference other liberal networks and papers’ polls? It’s always an ABC or CBS poll, or it’s a NYT or WAPO poll. Aren’t they a big enough outfit to conduct their OWN polls and report them? It comes across as they’re a surrogate for the other networks. Very strange (at least to me).
Over the last few weeks, perhaps a dozen or so times when I’ve tuned to Fox News, the poll they’ve been displaying and discussing has been either a WAPO/ABC or CBS poll; not ONCE has it been a “Fox” poll. Perhaps I’m tuning it at the wrong times?
Because Faux News would have Trump down by 20 points,
Thus running off the conservative viewers they have left.
Fox News has conducted several polls. If it hasn’t lately, it is because it is too favorable to Trump.
Fox is now a laughing-stock with H +3 nationally.
Shep Smith as well as Anderson Cooper and Pete Smith are all fascinated by polls!
FOX does do it’s own polls. Problem is they must answer to their Saudi overlords. After the 3rd debate, their stations around the nation showed Hellary winning by wide margins. Those were the ONLY polls showing a Trump defeat.

Jimmy Carter was once quoted as saying that it is easier to deal with dictatorships than democracies. The reason was you only had to talk to one person to determine what the country was thinking under the former system.
