Jazz Jennings has told of her struggle to find love as a transgender teenager as she said that most high school boys ignore her.
The 16-year-old said she had 'resigned' herself to the prospect of having to wait to find love - claiming it would be 'social suicide' for a straight boy to pursue a relationship with a transgender girl.
But the YouTube star and LGBT activist from South Florida, who was born male, said she recently went on a 'real first date' with a former childhood boyfriend, she wrote

At 16 one should be focused on education. Teen agents know nothing about love. They do know lots about being lustful. This confused boy is just a hot mess
It's not even a "social suicide" issue. The simple fact is that straight guys are not attracted to other guys. This is a little hard for a liberal to grasp, but it's not impossible if they try. "Jazz" may identify as female, whatever that means, but he is 100% male. Straight boys, even horny teenage straight boys, are looking for girls (body, not some vague sense of identity), and Jazz isn't a girl.
Life was sooooooooooooooooo much simpler when I was young.
A former coworker asked how to handle a son who decided to become a daughter. He was sexually attracted to males, and after coming out as homosexual, decided they still didn’t like him, so he wanted to be a girl.
But putting on a dress and makeup won’t be enough ... and HR punished anyone who suggested counseling for the under-aged minor too young to get a tattoo to be comfortable with an un-maimed body.
The irony is that they didn’t see it as inappropriate or sexual harassment for the father to ask for advice or get advice of “yes, do full surgery”, but advise not having surgery or hormones, and it is as if you’ve told horrible sexist jokes at work.
There are already lesbians getting bashed as trans-phobic for the “cotton ceiling”, where they will socialize with the man who identifies as a woman and has a penis but - oh the horrible sexism / phobia - won’t let him have sex with them.
