It is a Whitehouse.gov petition. We need signatures. Enough signatures and the president will have to respond one way or the other.

Presidential pledge assuring Americans Hillary R. Clinton will not receive Presidential Clemency
We, the undersigned, call upon the President of the United States to pledge he will not grant Presidential Clemency to Hillary Clinton for any crimes or misdemeanors she committed or may have committed during his time in office. This includes pardons for her actions while Secretary of State as well as her actions before and after her tenure as Secretary of State.
Americans have lost trust in government. They doubt the impartiality of the FBI and DOJ. They fear corruption and influence are working against the rule of law. They no longer trust the President.
To restore trust in government it is imperative that Hillary Clinton answer for her actions, good or bad, innocent or guilty, on her own and without the protection and censorship of Presidential Clemency.
Please, restore our trust.
The delusion in this request is expecting a dishonorable person to do what is honorable.
She doesn’t need a pardon. She hasn’t been charged. We need to wait until February 2017 to file any charges so Obama doesn’t get the opportunity.
Pledges mean nothing to a Marxist liar.
No amount of petitioning will force him to do anything. But if enough signatures go into the petition he has to make a public comment about it. That’s the way these whitehouse.gov petitions work.
It will be interesting to see how he dances around not pledging to not pardon her. Or, who knows, maybe he will throw her under the bus. There is no love lost between them and the election will already be over.
But we have to get signatures to get him to comment on it.
She does not need clemency. As a sitting president, she would be immune from any criminal charges. The only way to take down a sitting president is impeachment, as provided in the constitution.
Since her health is so poor, she will probably not survive her first term. So if elected, she has made a clean escape.

Legally, he can say SURE and not be held accountable.
To even present the petition wrongly acknowledges the lawfulness of the sitting Resident of the United States of America, whereas the person sitting hasn’t been lawfully selected and placed, nor has he behaved as a true citizen of this country, but rather like an outsider who whishes to see to our demise.
In fact, due to his unlawful occupancy HE will be subject to lawful disposition which includes nullifying the whole eight years of official proclamations and signings and actions.
She doesn’t have to be charged and crimes she committed don’t even have to be known yet. Presidential Clemency can be used to pardon her for any and all crimes she committed while Obama was in office, whether charged or not and whether her crimes are known or not. Presidents have done it before.
I just can’t understand why you waste your time on meaningless stuff like this.
Here's a lawyer offering citations that state that the presidential pardon power is unlimited and may be exercised pre-emptively:

Pledges also mean nothing to Donald Trump’s “Republican” political opponents — and Ben Gleck.
That would be true, were we to have a Congress with integrity.
Further, I believe that once out of office, it is the intention of BHO to reveal that he was never born in the US and thereby eligible to be selected as President of the United Nations.

Unlike many here I get the political optics this petition is intended to generate. Its a lose lose for Obama and Hillary...it might have been even better a week ago.
