Sorry but I strongly disagree with your statement. Out of most people here, he was one of the most polite and informative despite the topic being discussed.
That said, the rest of us are hardly perfect, and that doesnt mean he should banish himself.
With that being said, don't forget the 2012 purge of the Romney supporters who were either banned or said F'it to this site.
Everybody here is entitled to their opinions but unfortunately there is an attack mentality towards anyone who doesn't agree with the collective..
Cripplecreek's reason for leaving was a classic example of the so called "purists" eating their own and he didn't want any part of it...
And to his credit, instead of sticking around and attempting to defend himself from the constant onslaughts from everyone here who disagreed with him, he quietly left............
And FR has again lost another soldier to the CONSERVATIVE PURIST attack squads............
Disagree all you want. Your disagreement doesn’t change what I observed and my impression of CC’s behavior. The impression would only be changed by a reversal of the previously observed behavior, which is difficult to accomplish when one is so butthurt that he banishes himself to some zero-traffic ‘conservative’ purist website somewhere.
I don’t care about purging of Romney supporters. We were under what I consider an attack by trolls who were hell bent on subverting this website to support a candidate whose goals were diametrically opposed to our own. Banning people who do such things is an imperative.
Nobody ‘purged’ CrippleCreek. Nobody drove him away. We just didn’t support his lame ass faker of a candidate and he had trouble dealing with that. That’s the way the cookie crumbles.
