Anyone heard from CrippleCreek lately? He said he was taking some "time away". Since he lives near my "born & raised" stomping grounds, I'd like to see him back on FR.

Cripp lives about 25 miles from my hometown. He and I, both, have encountered “The Nuge” during the hunting season in years past.
We both like to fish in the local “pot-hole lakes” around SouthCentral Michigan. There is a Gestalt between us.
Thanks for thinking of him. I tried to find out what the time off was about but never got a reply....would welcome any news as we talked often here in messages.
Sorry, I don’t know the fellow, but it looks like he last checked in in March. Could be he’s taking a break, hope he’s okay. Maybe another FRiend might have the info to check on him.

He was a bit #neverTrump before he left, so maybe he didn’t feel welcome anymore.
Perhaps it was his way or the highway regards DT.
He’s a nevertrumper.
I haven’t heard anything about ‘creek.
I do recall him stating that he would be gone for “a time” and, that, without explanation is my concern.
He had asked me to take over the MI-Ping list but I could not. The ^implication^ was health-reasons but I can’t confirm that. Us mid-westerners aren’t to forthcoming when it comes to personal issues...we don’t even tell our doctors we have boogars!
I know where he lives and I could look up the info on the WEBZ but I respect his privacy so...
If and when he returns to FR, we may be able to find a comfort that he is well and doing fine.
I’m not overly concerned but, I’d like to ear from him soon.

Born and raised in SouthCentral Michigan.
Now of West-Texas for employment but will retire “back-home” in the farmlands of Michigan.
I like Colorado but don’t want set-up-homestead there.
Hope he pops in. But I know how it is for midwest types (in my case, upper midwest) and medical talk and/or going to the Doc.
He was one of my favorite posters for years until he went NeverTrump and burned bridges. He was rude and acted like a spoiled child.
That said, the rest of us are hardly perfect, and that doesn’t mean he should banish himself.

Maybe you have a clue there, why he's gone. Principled people don't always put up with personal attacks.
I’m not convinced he “walked away” from FR because of his #NeverTrump position. He and I both were Cruz supporters.
There appeared to be more going on.
I decline to speculate at this point.
