Is it too late for Trump’s campaign to request that an independent IT person do a random check of the “calibration” of these machines?

It would seem reasonable, although possibly not realistic at this point...

Paper ballots are not safe from fraud. It isn’t what the ballot is made of, it is WHAT COUNTS THE VOTES.

yes. it seems that all or most ballots will be machine read at some point in the process. the point is that there must be a human marked paper record of each vote in the case of recounts where most of the rigging will be uncovered in a hand count comparison with the machine totals. human paper creates a traceable/reconcilable trail in case of corruption. processing also keeps corruptible hands more busy. it also creates more witnesses to the whole process.

again. always force them to give you a paper ballot.
