I am too, not hearing anything earthshattering yet. I don’t see the duck as something that will bring her down.
It’s the collusion tying her campaign, indeed her, to the content and direction a pact took and the funding of it. It breaks the campaign finance laws. Her minions are on tape saying she is directing this. Top campaign aides are on tape. Scott Foval will go down for it, since he himself played one of the ducks. DNC dumped it to the pact after colluding bc of copyright laws dealing with ABC and Disney. I don’t see this as big enough to tank her.
Welllll, English teachers no longer seem compunctuated to correct grammar, spelling, syntax, nor ideas any more .... That is, if they can even require their students to use English at all.
yeah I get all of the illegality, but she’s dodged far bigger bullets than this. Didn’t he say brazile and Kaine or was that wiki that said they were up next? will Brazile be fired for this? I am so jaded I don’t see anyone having any repercussions at all. hope I am wrong.

great, but will anything happen in time for the election? prob not. There will be fallout for Hillary as president from all of this crap, but I don’t see it preventing her from being elected and that is soul-crushing.

I am prepared for the worst but I will vote and tell everyone I know to vote and spent some time with xsnephew this weekend talking about it. he and the boyfriend of my middle niece were both very anti-trump, NOT prohillary but just think he’s a scumbag etc. Well I showed my nephew that email I received and which I posted last week that said, maybe God wants to use a scumbag like Trump to right our wrongs. It made him think, he’d not thought of that angle before. I am hopeful he will talk to his gf about it too, because I bet she is also anti trump and bc he’s a scumbag. my SIL and I were talking about it and she said that’s the problem, these kids don’t get it, they don’t see how the sup ct is THE END ALL AND BE ALL, bc it will determine how our very lives are lived, and will ensure that another conservative is never elected. even xsteen’s hubby is balking and acting like he can’t vote for him either. xsteen gets it, she knows the deal. My nephew said he did absentee for Romney in Texas and that my SIL stood over him until he colored in the right box, to make sure he voted the right way. I LOLed and said that’s prob illegal on some level, she was coercing your vote!
I should explain my brother and SIL and their kids are all evangelicals. So the kids are troubled by the scumbagginess. Mikey said, well he said he accepted Christ etc. I said yeah, and he’s not a Christian, but get over that. I said he stood there in front of a room full of evangelical preachers and said he was going to secure religious liberty and he was going to do it bc it was prob the only way he could get to heaven. It was a laughline, and they all laughed, but the very statement was antithetical to what evangelicals believe, that DOING something doesn’t get you into heaven, it’s FAITH not works yada yada. So OF COURSE Trump is not a Christian in that sense of the word, as evangelicals define it, but those preachers GET IT and what it means for our country.

Titus sees/smells the tofu cubes in my salad, and he is giving me a I-want-some look-I still don’t get what there is in tofu for a cat-or dog-to like-yes, it is protein-but it is veggie not meat, and doesn’t smell like much of anything-Husky girl liked the stuff, too-it is a mystery...
My contractor friend and I were talking about a when to stay, when to go scenario while working this AM-we agreed that if Trump wins-or the revolution we’ve waited for since the 60’s begins, we will stay-and fight if necessary-Valhalla, and all that-but if Satan’s mistress gets her way it might be best to decamp with haste-over the border into the mountains to some small place where we have visited for a few days as a tourist in the past.
We both are of Latino ancestry and have spent time in Mexico-he said I know it isn’t a place either of us would chose to relocate to-but at least we speak the language, we are accustomed to trading work and bartering, and we both have lived off the grid for extended periods in the recent past-so living in the remote mountains would not be that much of a hardship-we’d survive, but we-and any family members or friends with us-would be living in a dangerous place-I pray it does not come to that-I don’t mind dying in a fight for a good cause-but being massacred by narcos/bandits is NOT a good option...

As I said-that is 1st choice-but if Hitlery is in charge and some states don’t secede/break away, we will likely just be arrested or shot on sight-remember Waco and Ruby Ridge? That isn’t my idea of a fight-that is summary execution...
Most of MrT5’s family still live in parts of Quebec-if he were alive and the SHTF, he would insist we pack up and head over that northern border-he spoke Quebecois and knew people who lived in the remote parts of Canada-but he is not here any more, and I don’t speak Quebecois-or any French dialect-and I don’t know anyone in Canada...
I still have 1st cousins on Cape Breton Island but haven’t seen them in years.
I certainly would not go someplace dangerous.
