This is tough...I live in Ohio, so I should root for Cleveland, but I’m unamerican if I root against the Cubs...but Cleveland is heavily democrat...oh, so is Chicago...see my dilemma?
Well, Kyle Schwarber, who is injured is from Cincinnati, so I’ll be pulling for the Cubs...

I’m pretty neutral, growing up, we got a new cable system, before satellite.
Before, I’d never seen the Braves on WTBS, the Mets on WOR and the Cubs on WGN of course, those were the days and I’d watch the Cubs and those other teams when I could; back then, with Harry Caray, it was still a big deal that the Cubbies never played at night, the Cubs were the lovable losers.
But I’m neutral here while I am an American League guy,
But these Cubs seem to be a team of destiny like that real good Mets team was around ‘86 I think, Hernandez, Strawberry, Dr. K.
So, I think the Cubs are just a team of destiny and will win.

Normally I'd root for the Cubs, but Trump received the nomination in Cleveland and corrupt Chicago is BO's home. I'm for the Indians.
Which reminds me, tonight was a gathering of many tribes in Washington DC to pray for America, and extend forgiveness for mistreatment, broken treaties, etc. It would be remarkable for the namesake Indians to win.

For all baseball fans of whatever ilk, do yourself a favor and listen to Tom Hamilton call the game on radio 1100 WTAM. It,s a clear channel station so you can hear it all over the USA. I haven't watched any games this year on TV but listened to every one of them and Hammy is the reason. Not only one of the best of today's lot but one of the all-time best.
