Agree with your post and several others that object to the headline. If God wanted to make a point about sinful behavior DIRECTLY by zapping people with diseases, everyone who engaged in illicit sexual activity would get some disgusting disease, while no innocent people would come down with diseases or have bad things happen to them. For example, there may be a link between abortion and breast cancer, yet I know women who have not had abortions who have had breast cancer, and many who have had abortions who have not had to bear the cross of breast cancer (or any other type of cancer). Also, I happen to live around the corner from a major cancer hospital and every day see children in wheelchairs who are bald from chemo. What did these evil children do that made God punish them with cancer? I know the Old Testament talks about God’s wrath, and perhaps He does intervenes in human events to punish individuals from time to time, but there is no way for us to know when He does this, versus when He allows free will and the laws of nature to direct events. Therefore, choosing gays as the one group we are confident that God is directly punishing with a specific disease is highly inappropriate, to put it mildly.

I’d say the greatest curse on the LGBT community isn’t its supposed haters but its supposed friends.

It is my contention that God’s judgments against sin are most often expressed in natural and logical consequences.

Normally, God acts normally.

And this goes along strongly with a Natural Law analysis. God’s Eternal Law isn’t just arbitrarily imposed on us “from the skies” so to speak, nor is it just written in “some book”. No, He has inscribed it in the very nature of reality.

It’s written in our blood and bones.

For those who refuse to believe in the Creator, but instead believe in evolution? Well, here ya go...have some evolution.

If you loved the last bugs, just wait until you get a load of these!
If you ignored or just didn't believe the last warnings...
or if you're Darwin-level clueless and you still want to put that thing in your mouth not knowing where it's been or play in that busy street?
Well...then, step right up and be "that guy/girl/whatever" and give a test ride to some of these new and improved, leading edge/bleeding orifice betas!

Political correctness will silence these facts.

In a Christian era, things look different because more options are open. The secret of Jesus is now out of the bag.

There are idiots who keep on going around obscuring the secret of Jesus, but they won’t succeed in the end.

It is not right to rejoice in the suffering of others.

That's true.

The church I willingly and happily attend welcomes homosexuals and every other sinner, just as Jesus does.

I have yet to see any sign that the church encourages homosexuals to continue celebrating their sin.

However, it definitely states marriage is between one man and woman.

So, I’m sure the church has discouraged homosexuals from becoming members.

I never needed rubber glue juvenilisms. Why use them when I could simply speak the truth about you?

It certainly looks like you are busy patting yourself on the back again.

You may by all means have your pride if you really, truly insist, but I can not be blamed for the consequences.

The Episcopalian “Church” celebrates sodomy. Many other leftist “social(ist) justice” sects also do just that. Feeding their parishioners deeply on the big lie that God embraces their sin. Satan has been a busy little bee.

You're correct. Some seem to believe that God assigns a point system to sin.

From what I recall from the bible, God seems to have a pretty decisive position on this particular sin. Burning entire cities to death seems like a significant position statement to me.

This aligns with what I believe. He has manifested his law so that it is always at work automatically. I think this would be the method that a vastly superior intelligence to our own would utilize. Something that requires no effort that sel-corrects itself and maintains the balance between good and evil.

“Lets not blame God for incurable bugs. He has a time set aside to punish those that deserve it, but presently his judgements are reserved for ‘Nations,’ according to his word.”

Biblically “incurable bugs” can certainly be a judgment from God, whether nationally or individually.

Deuteronomy 28:27
The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors, with the scab, and with the itch, from which you cannot be healed.

But WHERE does God’s word say that currently God’s judgment is only upon Nations?
