Gun Owners Better Vote Trump
10/19/16

Posted on 10/19/2016 7:03:55 AM PDT by SoFloFreeper

I don't know how many gun owners there are in America, but they had better vote for Trump.

I am sure that plans have already been drawn up for registration and/or confiscation if Hitlery seizes power.

Will not comply. Hillary is not above the law. Until she and her ilk are punished, there is no rule of law.

I presume we are talking about LEGITIMATE gun owners, those with possession gained by lawful purchase.

Stolen guns, or guns bought by another for delivery to persons who by themselves would not be allowed to possess a sidearm of any kind, if those people are voting at all, they would clearly NOT be in favor of The Donald.

Switzerland has a national policy of all able-bodied male citizens having a sidearm in operating condition and supplied with adequate ammunition available in the domicile, and all these same able-bodied male citizens are also reserve members of the Swiss Army.

Switzerland has not been invaded successfully for centuries.

I have liberal relatives who have guns, and just don’t believe that there is any threat to their rights. I have tried to educate them to the threat, UN Small Arms treaty, Supreme court selections, etc...

Proof doesn’t matter, “none are so blind as those who will not see”

Who is going to want to try and confiscate them?

City and county cops. Sheriff deputies. State police. Federal agents of various sorts. US military personnel. Foreigners in blue helmets.

Don't kid yourself. By and large, they'll obey orders. Anyone who resists will be labeled a terrorist.

Don't plan on fighting them at your front door. That's much too close. Plan carefully.

One of the amazing things about this election is that gun owners seem to not understand that Hillary is intent on making the 2nd Amendment impossible to exercise. If people were concerned she would be running at about 21% or so.

I think it is really weird. She should be completely overwhelmed by the gun owners in this country but there is no sign of that at all.

The guns will be taken in this way:

"Well, Mr voter, we will unfreeze your bank account when you turn in all of your guns." That is why they want to eliminate cash. Electronic bank accounts give them massive power over the electorate.

I also have a problem with legislators and bureaucrats who live in a non hurricane area dictating the self defense needs of the rest of us as well as how we are to store our money. The aftermath of a hurricane is really ugly. Hurricane Ike killed power in our area for three weeks. Fortunately we had cash on hand.

Despite the in-your-face evidence there are plenty of gun owners who will vote for Hillary. The reason is very simple...dems are gun owners too.

According to americangunfacts.com, about 80,000,000 people own the approximately 270,000,000 civilian firearms in the United States. That makes it about 3.37 per gun owner. (I guess I’m unusual, an outlier, with about 700% more guns than the average.)

And yes, she has already stated that, like Obama, she intends to use her executive authority to institute broader gun control measures “since Congress won’t act”.

Here in Michigan we have over 800,000 hunters. Obama won here twice. People don’t care. As long as they have their beer and a tv to watch their football, they just don’t care.

That will be the same with the passage of the Background Check in Nevada and possibly Maine. The non-gun owner doesn't give a crap and we have many gun owners who do buy into the "makes us safer" B/S.

People will fight back, with loaded guns? You’ll shoot armed government agents coming up your driveway to take your guns away? You’ll shoot fellow citizens trying to take your food/water?

Civil war didn’t happen in Australia, and the brave citizens gave up their guns without a shot being fired.

Our soft citizens doesn’t have the stomach for it. Our only hope is a Trump win.

I've been on FR a lot of years and have seen this topic come and go many times. I've read and heard this rhetoric many times. The question always is, do you mean it? Who's gonna do it? Have you joined a militia? ECT. I find many are big talk and no bite. If there was mass confiscation, the most likely scenario would be to bury them or hide them somewhere, which puts them out of reach if you need them.

Another thing most civilians don't know is what tech the military has now. You could bury them in Colorado on a mountain and a pass with a helo would find most stashes in 10 minutes. They have machines that can see through your walls, and see you in your bedroom with no open windows and place a .50 cal in your brain pan and never even know they are outside. They can turn your phone into a microphone with a GPS location to follow you right to the hole you intend to bury them in. If you join a militia, they probably have recorded your meetings and followed the members home to watch them.

Unless you have been in the military at a high level, most people have no idea what could be done today to find "bad guys".

You might be right the first few weeks as cops get shot, then the military, but very soon, the big dogs will be unleashed and you would have SEALS, Delta Force, ect on your case. You and your family would be dead and weapons confiscated before breakfast.

The trick here is don't let someone get in office that doesn't want to enforce the Bill of Rights. A good thing right now is I don't know of any,( there could be a few) cops that would do this and they aren't cool with BLM Clinton. But there are always a few that need the job or operate without principle that might take the order. If this was a federal order, it would probably be the military in the first place. Joining a militia would eventually be necessary, but you have to know you would be on the radar very early.

I live in small town Maine.

Everyone here knows cops....they know where state police live; they know where city cops live, they know where sheriff’s deputies live, etc.

Maine has one of the highest rates of firearm ownership in the country. You don’t know the people here....they would fight back, and most of the cops would be on OUR side anyway.

We have “universal background checks” on the ballot here in Maine, like Nevada. A Washington DC group funded by Bloomturd got the signatures, mostly from liberal women.

The elected Maine sheriffs are opposed to this measure and are appearing in commercials, in uniform, with their names on the TV screen urging people to vote NO to “background checks.”

Most of the military will be on our side, too. The ones in the military that are for the people will be fighting those in the military who want to play ball with the gun grabbers.
That would be a civil war-type situation.

Funny I just had this Australia argument with my best friend on the phone 10 minutes ago.

America is not Australia. Australia is now and has been as socialist as the UK or any other country in Europe.

America besides having a Constitution is comprised of 50 sovereign states. Americans are natural born anarchists. So I can’t speak for CA or NY but in the South we will not be giving up the guns.

In this country guns are the line in the sand.

I appreciate your faith in your local officers of the law. I live in rural West Virginia. Still, in general, I would not trust anyone in uniform to do anything other than obey orders. Some will instead fulfill their oath to protect and defend the Constitution ... but in this, I’m from Missouri: “Show me”.
