Instead of taking kick-boxing classes, a few attempts at ballet might have taught her how to hold her arms in a feminine fashion while being photographed.

Has Rachel Ray taken to drink? She always looks puffy and fat lately. She was never a sylph but lately...how.

Final State Dinner
Its the final one so yippie! :)
Goodbye! And don’t let the door hit your flugly ‘lipstick on a pig’ American hating Marxist ass on the way out the door.
And thank your husband for the massive debt, ISIS, and stirring up racial tentions and crapping on the USC and so much more.

how to hold her arms in a feminine fashion
That is what it is. I have seen plenty of strong women, probably stronger than her, (maybe), but they know how to stand and hold themselves. She has no clue what she looks like nor how to present an image.

“Michelle Obama solidified her legacy as perhaps the most adept and successful practitioner of the art of political dressing that any administration has seen.”
Clap (slow) , clap (fast) , clap(faster), clap(really, really fast), stand, now bow down to the god of political correctness and lauding mediocrity.

Effusive praise is the hallmark of an abjectly submissive subordinate toady. The NYT, as a subsidiary of the Democrat party and the liberal mindset, almost steps all over their adjectives as they try to outdo themselves in making flattering and largely dishonest remarks about the spouse of the Current Occupant.
Still looks like a substitute linebacker for the Chicago Bears.

Michelle Obama solidified her legacy as perhaps the most adept and successful practitioner of the art of political dressing that any administration has seen.
Jacqueline Kennedy was, by any stretch of imagination, the consummate political master at dressing the part. The idea of Camelot survives because of her political ear and understanding. Agree or not, but Laura Bush was very attuned to political winds and was able to dress and act accordingly.
The only wind behind Michelle is the media blowing into her political balloon with all their might.
They should have gotten a better wig though.

The nonsense that Michelle Obama spouts is never ending. From her speech in New Hampshire:
"Because consider this: If all of this is painful to us as grown women, what do you think this is doing to our children? What message are our little girls hearing about who they should look like, how they should act? What lessons are they learning about their value as professionals, as human beings, about their dreams and aspirations? And how is this affecting men and boys in this country? Because I can tell you that the men in my life do not talk about women like this. And I know that my family is not unusual."
Of course she considers Beyonce a great role model for her daughters, and her husband likes Kanye West's music, and he and his wife have been invited to the White House. Kayne West publicly describes sexual acts with women in crude, racist terms. So actually, some of the men in Mrs. Obama's life talk about women, in public, in terms far cruder than anything Donald Trump has ever said.

Could be the result of her “open” marriage. She went downhill fast after they were married.
