If Russia does nuke a major American city or two, it’ll change the country Republican.
Democrats control the major cities and big cities account for 70-80% of their vote. They voted for what they will get.
So it won’t be all bad.

If it was DC, I’m looking for a downside. In any case, I think all continuity of government shelters should be closed and no longer available.
If a government gets us into a nuclear war, I want to know why I would want those same idiots to emerge and remain in charge. It makes no sense.

If an American city or two got nuked, the citizenry will rally but I am not sure it will go anti-Democratic.
I remember 9/11 day and night, and most people were running on emotion , and not on logic.
Osamma wanted to change America, and he accomplished that both financially and with increased security.
I recall Americans rallying about the sudden fall of the stock market, and emotionally calling for people to support the market even as it was crashing.
Those investors lost their shirts because of emotion.
I am not sure, given the incestuous relationship between the media and the administration, that the media wouldn't blame the 'Ruskies', even if our govt. started it !
I am not sure how that would shake out, or what the results would be .. Right now, only Conservatives are aware that Obozo has threatened a cyber war with Russia,
and that Russia is currently telling its people to find out where the nearest nuke bunker is located.
The complaint media have reported little information so far ..
