Anyone here a member of the American Nationalist Party?
chit chat | 10-12-2016 | ShivaFan

I mentioned in a previous post, that after the election I will leave the Republican Party even if Trump wins.

At that time I had asked if others in the same opinion knew of plans or another existing party to suggest.

Today I stumbled upon the American Nationalist Party, and while it appears they are small yet they are gathering members even thuugh they are not as of yet an official party with candidates on the ballot nor even something one can register as even though they hope to be in the near future.

They have a nice website, however I have no idea of who is even in charge, how many members and so on. In one way, since they are not even yet a party one can register with it sort of isn't "joining a new party" since they are - at least not yet - even an official party. But their platforms look interesting and align with me politics in about 80% of what they state are their political stances.

However, I am curious, are there any members of the American Nationalist Party on FR? What is your experience with them?

Not aware of them. I am most likely moving to the Constitution party, aka the US Taxpayers party, formed in the early 1990’s.

They want stronger financial regulations. That only empowers government, particularly the executive. They aren’t calling for repeal of the Sixteenth Amendment that I can see; they aren’t criticizing progressive taxation either. They also want increased funding for state-run education.

Trump is renovating the Republican party. It may not be necessary to leave if the RINO types and globalist decide to leave.

Is it possible to “renovate the GOP” after being one manifestation of the Uniparty for over half a century?

Trump thus far has shown force of personality to initiate an actual second party if he sees fit.

I dont like the sound of National or Nationalist in any party name.

History has shown it never quite works out that well.

I belong to conservative party after switching 2 months ago.

There was a documentary years ago on Neo-Nazis in the U.S.

They were pro-White and also pro-Socialism. They just wanted welfare for Whites.

This American Nationalist Party sounds like it might have similar ideology and most likely a similar membership base.

Even if they’re pristine, everything depends on how savvy they are to possible efforts to subvert or sidetrack them,as is often done to small, idealistic parties.

Nationalist just invites comparison to Nazis. We’re a republic and states are supposed to wield most of the authority, not the national government.

Some thought Reagan renovated the GOP, but the crooks started clawing back as soon as he left office.

Any party is going to have crooks, though. I think the key is the new media and the people holding politicians accountable.

Yeah, that's the first thing I thought of when I heard "nationalist". Probably Neo Nazi.

If we can't rearrange the Rep party, it's over people. Trying to lift up the Constitution party or even start a new party is the tallest order. If you had the organization to bring the NRA, Christians, military and police, and bring them all to a new party like the Constitution party, it might work. The most likely thing however is to split the Rep party in 2 pieces and never win an election again. Rebuild the Rep Party from within.

One very fixable problem is to convince Christians to vote! Then convince them to vote conservative. If we have 55+ % of Catholics voting Dem, that's a big problem. I keep wondering which priests are preaching sodomy is OK, or baby murder will be forgiven, or any one of a few dozen more sins the Dems stand for. Every election we go through this scenario with most Catholics voting for Satan and his minions. They get cover from Biden, Pelosi, all the Kennedy's, and more, voting Dem and still getting the Sacraments. I keep bringing it up and people start in on me about Catholic bashing instead of mobilizing against Pelosi and company. There are good people in the pews, but the higher ups, from Bishop's on up are in the political machine to get Dems elected. I keep griping about Jesuit's and now we have a Jesuit pope. The Jesuit's would rather foment revolution and overthrow a government than worship God. Just watch the South and Central American countries and see where the trouble starts. The Jesuit's are the ones propping up Chavez types all over the world.

Now we know Hillary and company want the same thing here. I think someone called it Christian democracy. I got news,...Jesus is NOT a democracy. The King of Kings is NOT interested in what politicians think.

The NRA will go where the best deal is. The military and police will go where they don't burn the flag.

We could build a winning conservative party, but it take real work to do it. The churches will have to ditch the idea that both parties are equal in the eyes of God, and preach it from the pulpit even if it means legal trouble. The Apostles went to jail and took beating to preach the Word. It looks like we could loose a 501c3 or two for God. Everybody staying home, or splitting into splinter groups like Libertarians and Constitution party's won't get it done.

There’s no point in even thinking about a small invisible party.

If Rush or Hannity or Trump backs it, then the party is put on the map. Even if Levin were to back it. Otherwise, it’s tilting with windmills.

If Trump loses, I’m finished with elective politics. What’s the point? The people who share my values will be outnumbered by those who don’t. Why bother standing in line for hours on election day only to be outvoted by the lazy, layabouts, illegals, gimmedats, crossdressers, etc.? I’ve got better things to do.
