One US man got a massive beating after dressing up as a creepy clown and trying to scare a group of friends in a car.
Footage of the incident shows the clown, holding some balloons, walk close to a car where a number of men were hanging out.

Except there isn’t an epidemic of clown attacks. There’s an epidemic of reports of clown sightings, and people claiming to be attacked but then recanting when questioned by police.
And a few people who actually ARE dressing up like clowns and attacking people, probably because of all the hype.
In Virginia, it is illegal to wear a mask in public to hide your identity — couldn’t tell if this was a mask, or painted on.
From the headline, I expected to see a clown in a horror mask banging on their car. Not some smiley-faced clown paint with balloons standing in the street getting beaten by people who had to get out of their car to do it.
The clown seems undeterred.
You’re ignoring and trivializing current criminal threats that provide context.
With the exception of a few high profile cases, the rule of law still holds throughout the vast majority of the US. I have traveled globally and I have been to regions where the rule of law has or is about to break down. The VAST majority of the US is no where near that.
And you are ignoring the LAW.
THe story has a lot of “facts” that are not in the video, and the “facts” are all based on what the people in the car said. And they had every reason to say that the clown was harassing them and was told to go away and didn’t. But you don’t see that on the video.
This particular newspaper does a lot of stories that are entirely based on interviews with one side of a story, without any real fact checking.
For example — were the police called? Did they arrest the clown? Did the clown call the police to report the attack? Did he end up in the hospital?
The article instead quotes Obama saying we should take this seriously — which is a joke, because if you count how many people dress up as clowns, and how many of them have actually commited a crime, you’ll find that the chances of a person dressed as a clown attacking you is LESS than the chance of a black male between 18-24 attackign you — and I can guarantee you Obama isn’t saying we should take seriously “black male sightings’, nor would he allow a car of white people to yell at a black man to “move back”, and then to beat him if he didn’t.
Go back and look at the video. When the guy with the bat approches the clown to assault him, the clown turns to leave and run away. Up until that point - NO ONE - had committed any violence.
The first act of violence was the felony assault with a deadly weapon - to a person who was retreating. No different that shooting someone in the back who is running away.
Yep,
I got chased by a broad head ax wielding redneck ,
Lead poisoning was justified.
That is an excellent idea. I will do this.
Now add that to this:
ISIS to send wannabe serial killers to the West in bloody new terror tactic
Do the math.
That’s a nationwide charity thing that actually came over from England 30 years ago, maybe more. It will continue.
Surprising number of styles for sale on the internet, but I’ll just grab some images and make my own.
The American Psycobabble Association even has phobia about the fear of clowns. So if this perp claims the phobia he walks.
Capitalized or not, the law does not require one to be shot or knifed before they defend themselves from a lethal threat. Fact is, people are dressing up as clowns and attacking others. No less than the President of the US has acknowledged the danger. Including that information in the assessment of a clown threat is ALSO the law.
Terrorism is illegal. Terrorism is considered a lethal threat under the LAW.
I’ve heard of a Jack-in-the-Box.
But a “Clown-in-the-Box”?
Obviously, Del Shannon was wrong, everybody doesn’t love a clown

Not so obviously is that some people might be dressing up like clowns as a reaction to the eyes only muslim suits.
Seeing black sacks waddle float drift or prowl down the street will surely be an increasingly scary event as the Welcoming Cities start to fill with the navigate not assimilate crowd.
These clowns serve an under-appreciated conditioning role.
The definition of a threat hinges on two conditions that must be present: ability to inflict harm and intent to inflict harm
In this case, no ability was present unless you believe that somehow balloons can be used to cause bodily harm.
In this case, no intent to inflict harm was present unless you believe that somehow, walking down the street in a costume automatically infers a threat. If that is the case, Halloween should be a very fearful time for you.
Further, when the clown turned to run away, all threats real or imagined were removed from the situation. Do you know why police are prohibited from shooting a fleeing suspect? Because there is no threat by the fugitive.
Meh ... looks staged, IMO.
