Hurricane Center has monopoly on data. No way of verifying claims. Nassau ground observations DID NOT match statements! 165mph gusts? WHERE?— MATT DRUDGE (@DRUDGE) October 6, 2016

this doesn’t make conservatives look good. I wish Drudge wouldn’t comment on a few Twitter statements a few people have said.

In a just and non-pc world, it would be Hurricane Matilda. One T.

Well, the government “experts” have gone out of a long limb on this one. They must be praying that something over 120 mph happens or people will be ticked off at the time and expense of evacuating. By the way, winds of 90-110 mph happen rather frequently on the Great Plains in the center of the US, but there are no media and government officials there, so people just pick up their roofs and windmills and carry on.

Has anyone ever read of evidence of horrendous storms like this in any writings from Cuba or So. US in 1800’s, or from the slave traders crossing Pacific or Pirates (did Pirates keep diaries?-LOL). I’m just thinking these storms have always been happening in the modern world — and not connected to any man-made influence.

This has been a problem for the NHC for some time. Hurricane Hermine had no hurricane force winds. The eyewall of Hurricane Matthew reportedly hit Nassau at 97 m.p.h., a solid Cat 2 hurricane that can cause widespread damage and power outages. But nothing near a Cat 4.

Some people like the alarmism of hurricane season. Others prefer the truth. Count me in the latter category.

Maybe Putin is helping - Russian secret weather control satellites have out-maneuvered Obama’s secret weather control satellites. And since Trump has made it clear he is not seeking conflict with Russia, ultimately that means Trump is stopping the hurricane.

All those wrecks of Spanish galleons in the Caribbean and near The Bahamas....they sank in hurricanes 400 - 500 years ago.

If you listen to idiots like Al Gore, one would think that smokestacks at factories cause hurricanes and that the hurricanes are a result of the industrial age, which is BS.
