It doesn’t matter if they don’t commit more crimes. Our government has a responsibility to make sure they are not here to commit ANY crimes at all. One crime by someone who should not be here represents a failure of the government to be a proper guardian of our liberty.

1. They don’t address ILLEGAL immigrants, who already ARE criminals for being here at all; 2. Incarceration rates don’t show the true picture because so many are caught and released, or deported, or jump back across the border, and never convicted; 3. I guess possibly the majority 47 states, but somehow doubt the people in border states like Texas, Arizona and California would agree with the author, even if the people do.... the crime statistics dont.
