What I mentioned on the other thread is that my husband is now voting Trump, not third party. I asked him why— and we have argued about this before— and he said the debate was kind of boring and he learned nothing new EXCEPT that Trump can hold his own when attacked by the moderator as well as Hillary Clinton. Of course my husband knows the issues. And I would absolutely hate the election to be decided on the fact that stupid people fell for Hillary's lies. I think they have to come up with a strategy where Trump can take on the moderator as well as Clinton. Don't not answer the question but answer how he needs to, addressing her lies, corruption and ineptitude. The questions aren't going to be asked by the media we have, he's going to have to create some of his own opportunities. I can't believe part of the msm is saying she was great on the Iran issue— talk about a scary proposition if this is how we are going to deal with terrorist, going nuclear, countries.

He did good. That’s the ONLY thing undecided voters will remember: Good.
People don’t remember logic.

Trump was being a gentleman and exhibiting self-control when confronted by her bold face lies. He did remind us that she and BO created ISIS. He did confirm that though she has lots of experience, it was all Bad Experience. Furthermore, being a nasty beeotch is not attractive. To anybody.

Trump missed some solid body blows he could have landed... But on points it was a draw.
But Trump walks away looking reasonable, and that’s all he had to do, so I expect the push polling and gas lighting to tryi to show a Hillary bump, but I see no change to Trumps momentum from thisz

Calling it a draw is charitable to both and about right. Neither looked really good. All eyes were on Clinton to show failing health and instead we have Trump show up with the sniffles. Bad timing!
The debate was too fast pace in my opinion, never time to really talk to an issue. There were so many points I would have expected Trump to pounce on, yet he skipped them. I was surprised at his several "I agree with..."
I'm going to watch it again, and maybe again after that once I read more of what others thought.
And again, a moderator that wanted to be a debater. That is probably the worst part of the whole evening.

5) Next time, don't leave those hanging slow pitches unswatted. For example, when Hillary talks about your charity, mention her Clinton Foundation that only gives out 6% of it's money to charitable works. Also, speak more about how Hillary is the DC Establishment, and you are there to challenge that. Many people will identify that as a key takeaway.
And this point is why your "opinion" is only relevant on FR, IMO.
We need to step back and look upon such a "spectacle" from the viewpoint of the LIV. Such an expectation is not realistic to those who do not follow politics 7x24x365.
A draw, likely. Advantage: Mr. Trump, IMO.
Most on FR were expecting a "kill shot" or an unrealistic health episode that would end the contest once and for all.
We need to look at the overall scenario from the viewpoint of those who are not necessarily "informed" or "opinionated" as "we" are.

It was a draw i the manner of two heavy weights landing blows that staggered each other but didn’t bring each other down. trump is going to have to really pound her on the e-mails and Benghazi. He’s got to go after like a knife fight in a phone booth.

1) Complete your sentences. You are giving the audience too much credit for figuring out what you mean when you shoot off two or three words. No uninformed voter is convinced by dangling allusions.

No: 1) as I said earlier today, Trump has already won the social media poll war, so he overwhelmingly won; 2) there is a Frank Luntz focus group graph that CRATERS among . . . Wait for it. . . . Undecideds every time Cankles spoke.

Chris Matthews and his moonbat panel are smug and crowing. Chrissy said Hillary was like the matador who baited, then kept stabbing the snorting bull until he finally whimpered out at the end of the debate, over her disgusting closing remarks about women. The MSLSD crew are gleefully proclaiming "Hillary controlled the debate!"

Was yelling at the TV for him to say a few things.
Agree it was pretty much a draw but hew drew actual blood, in her mind, several times and it was evident by the 'kicked-in-the-gut look that replaced her grin on those occasions.
