When we lived in Atlanta, we fostered a huge dobe, Luther, who had a favorite fleece blankie. He would mound it up into a point and suck on it like a nipple. Funniest dam thing. Would have kept him in a heartbeat if he hadn’t tried to eat the cats every chance that came along. :/
Little kids think he's "magical" and I'm using a "wand" on him. They're genetically prone to sucking and usually, it's their own flank.
Thankfully, she sucks her binkie, instead.
