Sorry, but it’s a very apt analogy.

You think Musk should slow down because people might get killed if he tries for Mars faster than you think he should.

Some people were afraid to sail too far out into the Atlantic because they thought the ships would never come back, either falling off the edge, or “There be Dragons”.

People told Columbus that he would never come back.

He did come back.

Musk wants to use it to go to Mars.
