They should offer a bun, with no fixings, and without meat.

For a 30% premium price.

;-P

YEAH, have Government MAKE In-N-Out have a veggie burger option and impose steep, daily fines until they comply, seems legit.

If I could ever find a half-way decent tasting veggie burger, I’d actually consider ordering it once in a while.

But to me, the current offerings out there don’t taste particularly good.

If it is profitable for them, they should do it.
If not, I don’t see why they should.

veggie burgers have been tried several times and just don’t sell well enough to keep on most restaurants’ menus

also, most restaurant vegieburgers taste like stuff that fell out of the cow’s posterior end

Actually, if they would like to REQUEST that they sell veggie burgers, and the shop aggrees there is demand, then they could ON THEIR OWN decide to sell them...

But I imagine they would have done that already if they felt demand was high enough.

But to get the governmen to FORCE you to sell someone no one wants to buy is stupid and I hope they tell them to go f*** themselves.

Here is an idea libtards. If you want a veggie drive in, invest your money and time and start your own business. In 6 months you will either be bankrupt or a conservative. Win/win.

When Burger King first started offering “veggie burgers”, I ordered one.

Tasted like crap.

Even with cheese and bacon.

Liberals don’t want to invest in anything, they just want to make Govt force companies to do it for them

Buy the burger with only a lettuce wrap. If you don’t like it go borrow 1/2 billion dollars and start your own Hippie Hut.(c)

“Start your own store and sell them.”

Exactly! If there WERE an actual demand in the first place, instead of a DEMAND from whiny, disgruntled, sickly Vegan-tarians, fast food would’ve already filled it.

“If I could ever find a half-way decent tasting veggie burger”

Daughter went meatless a few years ago, the only way we found was to heat it up / grill it over mesquite when we do the other meats, she liked those.

While I’d prefer a decent hamburger, I wouldn’t be opposed to a veggie burger if they could get decent flavor and texture out of it. I’ve not had that many, and none of them were particularly edible.

That said, why do these people think they can force a change in a private sector business via petition? That alone is annoying enough for me to oppose it.

OK...that's cool.If the free market calls for a veggie burger I see no problem. It's when government REQUIRES it that a problem exists.

I’ve had marinated and grilled tofu kebabs that weren’t too bad. Beef, pork or chicken would have been better, but it wasn’t too bad.
