Teaticket’s that area on Route 28 in Southeast Falmouth. I used to go flounder fishing off the bridge on Great Pond on Manhunt road.
Man I caught a lot of fish there! You had to be there when the tide was coming in; from the bridge, you could actually see them coming up the pond in hundreds. Mostly dinner plate and larger size. Biggest one I caught was the size of a turkey platter and about 20 pounds.
AND, to complicate matters, the towns of Yarmouth, Falmouth, Dover, Weymouth, Boston, Barnstable, Ipswich, Chelsea, Bolton, and many more have their American counterparts in Massachusetts.
And a number of these also have towns in Canada with the same names.
It’s about six to seven hours flying time from the east coast the the UK. Not sure from where it takes 12 hours to cross the atlantic.
Rhymes with “Awwww Fukkit”!
That area is called New England for a good reason. LOL
Very interesting! That was one big flounder. Also, thanks for the info. It must be a small, quiet place.
LAX
Teaticket is a part of Falmouth.
LOL!
Thanks!
New York refers back to presumably York in England as well.
that was a real floundah!
Umm..
What’s with the phone infrastructure o’er there that makes this mistake possible? Hard to imagine this happening on most hard-wired phone lines. Siri (or her GooGle counterpart) screw up on her ‘Siri, call the Barnstaple police’ voice dial?
;-)
It does appear to affect the 999 system from time to time.
We test the 999 link Between our phone network and the national network every Wednesday (requires a code), (old fashioned requirement never cancelled), the lady in NYC is not a total stranger....
All our phone area codes start 01, put this in by accident then 999 .....+1 999 it’s got to go somewhere. :)
Interesting.
Next time you talk to the NYC lady ask her how they like their commie mayor.. ;-)
NO ONE expects the Spanish Inquisition!!!!!!! ;)
I’m going to goof up the number next time, just for the fun of it. :)

Yes, wrong database.
She got a cheaper iPhone on her US trip so she didn't have to pay the VAT tax in the UK...:^)
Or perhaps she dialed 911 instead of 999?
