I recommend that we use the term "theocratic Islam", instead of "radical Islam". The left loves to claim that conservative Christians want a theocracy (which is a lie), and ignore the truth that a large percentage of Muslims really do want a theocracy. Turn it back on them, and clarify the problem for people who are instinctively distrustful of Islam, but don't want to appear bigoted.

“Radical Islam” is more correct, in my view. “Radical” means basically “the root” - i.e., mass murder, rape, enslavement and a host of other evil were the base Mohamed founded it on.
“Theocratic Islam” would be less correct as Islam is a political ideology, one obviously having nothing to do with God.
