We shouldn’t treat it as a direct quote, even though, as a Wascally Evangelical, I think she has to believe this in her heart of hearts. She’s a statist. Religion, if it has a role at all, to her has only the role of serving the state’s sovereign wishes.
The commentator observes that she has gone past bad, to evil. Badness is of evil too, but it is restrained by some degree of ambivalence. She seems pretty dedicated to evil.
Agreed! Can’t find any video of it or record of her saying that ever. It would destroy her campaign if true.
I don’t doubt that she probably harbors those sentiments, but we shouldn’t be saying it if we don’t have documentation.
