You live in SC. You live a conservative lifestyle as you've said ad nauseum. I invite you here to NYC on Gay Pride Parade Day so you can see up front and personal (believe me, with your attitude, they'll make it upfront and personal) how charming, delightful, and warm and cozy it is. Bring your children or grandchildren; they'll enjoy it too!

One of the worst moments of my life was watching a gay pride parade in Paris. I had seen them before and was kind of used to it; it was the eyes of the Islamic shopkeepers on St. Germain Blvd. that caught my attention in a most horrific way. You cannot disguise hate or retribution.

That's what those parades you know nothing about are doing. Take it to the bank.

I'm in NYC all the time. I'm a finance executive. In fact, I'm in Midtown as we speak at a very nice hotel.

I don't like "normal" parades (like New Years) so it's safe to say I like gay pride parades even less. But what are they actually doing to society? Not much. The destruction of the nuclear family even in my lifetime has been staggering. I know 10 couples in the last 5 years of my parents Church that the wife ran off after 20 to 40 years of marriage for another guy, leaving their children. I know 5x that many who have divorced. I know 10x as many as that who have cheated on their S/O. You may get more worried about a gay pride parade. I'm worried the moral right has been corrupted from within.

Zombietime has photograpically documented such events, and those unfamiliar with them can see what they look like over at Zombie's website.
