Or if the house caught fire, going to fish around in the dark for clothes? Memphis just had 9 people die in a house fire caused by a short in the AC cord, house in bad neighborhood, had bars on all the windows and door and no inside release mechanism. No working smoke alarm. 1 child is in the hospital and might not make it. 6 kids, 3 adults.
I sleep in a tank top and shorts PJ set with slippers by the bed. Hubby sleeps in a undershirt and briefs. Not heavy long nightgown tangling up in your legs. You can keep the heat turned down and save on the electric bill too.
You sound a lot like my mom! Her policy is to be prepared at all times to vacate the premises within 60 seconds, properly appointed: wallet, keys, clothes, shoes, weapon. You simply cannot bug out at top speed if you start totally undressed.
