Is It Really Possible To Faint From Heat, As Clinton Claims?
forbes.com ^ | September 11, 2016 | Emily Willingham

During a 9/11 memorial ceremony in New York City, Hillary Clinton reportedly began to feel unwell and needed to leave. As she was entering a waiting vehicle, video shows aides helping her into the car as her legs seemed to buckle beneath her.

Naturally, speculation about that buckling flamed out all over social media. People who dislike Clinton leaped to point to what they view as yet more evidence that she’s too elderly or frail or ill or something to be president. Those who want to tamp down that kind of speculation asserted that it was a hot day and she likely felt faint from the heat.

So then we got assertions on Twitter that fainting doesn’t look like that or that one does not “faint from heat.”

FaintHeat

But people do faint from heat, and yes, fainting does look like that. A statement from the Clinton campaign following the event said:

Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just an hour and thirty minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen. During the ceremony, she felt overheated so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment, and is feeling much better.

Clinton herself came out of her daughter’s apartment building within hours of the episode and said that it was “a beautiful day” and that she was feeling better.

I bet all the meds swapping they are doing on her and results the last few days,, incoherent statements, insulting half the country, stuff like that, fainting in public, ..

I suspect it's neurological, and she wears Winter Coats in August to hide a Catheter.

Back in ‘93, heat exhaustion took me down during the swim test in boot camp. They wheeled me away and jabbed an IV in me.

While swimming? Surprised the heck out of me, but that’s what the doc said it was. I love swimming!

You are walking along with your female boss.

She locks up.

You don’t know what is wrong with her.

So you throw her in a van and take her to her daughter’s house?

Baloney.

You don’t think she’s taking medication to lower her blood pressure? Every first world person that age, with her fat, is taking it!

And I’m sorry. She came from a well air-conditioned home or hotel, was driven in a well air-conditioned SUV, and couldn’t stand for a hour in the VIP section?!

I know about this heat wave. I did 20 blocks this morning in heavy humidity. No reason to faint because of it.

I remember FDR’s Dr. would sometimes give him an injection containing cocaine before a public appearance. It was considered proper medicine at the time.

One would think Hillary’s Dr. would do something similar. Maybe he is?

Yes can someone pass out from the heat, yes... Is that what happened to her? No, you see her head bobble, similiar to what she has had happen on several occasions on film and then she completely collapsed... Little question she has either neurological issue or pulmonary issues IMHO.

Given her known issue with the fall etc odds are neurological.

DU: Hillary's collapse was nothing to see - move along.

If this is so normal, let's find out how many other people fainted at this 9/11 event today.

It was in the mid 70’s this morning....not oppressive considering it’s been in the 90’s for the last four months.

I understand it’s impolite to wish ill on anyone, but this woman needs to die the most agonizing/degrading death imaginable....she’s earned it.

“78 degrees. 36% Humidity. Down here in Texas, we call this Winter.”

Remember, the Talking Points after Sandy Berger?

The overheating is simply the Dems Talking Point. They tell the Media what to say.

“That’s just Sandy! He’s a hoot!”

Fox just read a statement from her doctor that said she was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday, given antibiotics and told to rest. Statement also said she was overheated and dehydrated.

Forbes has been consistantly wrong in its business forecasts, eonomic outlook, and just about every other published article in the past 25 years.

“...is it just this looney journalist at Forbes or is all of Forbes lefty now?”

Solidarity with the Sisterhood, plain and simple.

Emily Willingham’s top priority is to get a women of Hillary’s caliber in the WH. Objective journalism is only an after thought.
