Would Hillary Clintons critics love her if she was a man? The gameplan of Democrats and liberal pundits this campaign season has been disrupted mostly to their benefit by Donald Trump; win or lose, Trump is the dominant storyline of the 2016 election. But as we head into the fall stretch run, the preferred narrative of Hillary Clintons partisans for 2016 and beyond is re-emerging: that she is Women and any opposition to her is opposition to Women.
The latest entrant in this narrative though by no means the first comes from Peter Beinart at The Atlantic, in an article unsubtly entitled Fear of a Female President, as sort of a bookend to Andrew Sullivans notorious 2007 Atlantic piece on how Obama was going to transcend the Baby Boom eras culture wars (good thing we have none of that after eight years of him!). Beinart writes: Except for her gender, Hillary Clinton is a highly conventional presidential candidate. Shes been in public life for decades. Her rhetoric is carefully calibrated. She tailors her views to reflect the mainstream within her party. The reaction to her candidacy, however, has been unconventional.

Beinert is wearing briefs two sizes too small. He needs to go to Walmart and get some the right size. There’s probably a sale going on right now
Perhaps Peter Beinart has a sexist bias against hetrosexual males.
This because Peter is a hopeless socialist and thinks he is smarter than everyone else.
Allegedly, we oppose Hillary because she’s a woman. We oppose Barack Hussein Obama because he’s part black. We oppose Barney Frank because he’s gay. We oppose Harry Reid because he’s Mormon.
Those on the left never admit that we oppose all of these big government liberals because they work toward tyranny. They know the truth, but they lie because they want an all-powerful government that they can use to crush those who disagree with them on even the most minor question.
Liberals disgust me, and it has nothing to do with their melanin or their genitals.
Author seems to be clueless that some people deplore criminal behavior by any gender classification.
You forgot Nurse Ratchet.
Some people just hate evil.
I tuned in to Dennis Prager during a Rush commercial yesterday. Dennis was agonizing over the question why so many good people, friends of his on the left, want to vote for her.
My wife and I were just shaking our heads. Back to Rush.
