Oh yeah, BEVO XV made his debut. 19 months old, so hopefully he’ll be around for a long time.

It didn’t exist. I saw the replay.
That was their chance and they couldn’t do it. TX owned the line.

Dang right it was a whizbanger. Very enjoyable (unless you had some bucks on it — that would’ve been apoplectic).

In short, Notre Dame was out of shape. It showed.

Nothing beats the atmosphere of a game on a campus. So true. I had to pick the least fav so I went with Taxass. Good game overall. Can not beat college football. Go Huskers!

That brought back so many bad memories. Could have had Marino or Brady.
In the best QB class ever, Elway, Marino etc. the Jets picked none of them.
Managed to avoid along the way both Mannings, Flacco, Rothlisberger, Luck..HECK Rivers, Smith, Newton, but they did find Sanchez, Smith, Favre when he was 103, Pennington the breakable, Todd, OBrien...and more.
It’s all a horrific blur.

Nebraska will be back in due time. You need a coach.

Too bad Texas and Houston dont play this year.”
Would have made a great pre-season game - bet the Coogs would have beat the Tea Sips handily!

I will tell you the worst that can happen to worn out teams is the 2nd OT.
You defend to the end to stop that score and fail. You then give the ball back and do it all over again.
That is tough.

That doesn’t fit the definition of a team that scored three straight touchdowns to retake the lead. I am proud of them for fighting back the way they did.

Epic opening weekend for Texas football. Aggies won in overtime over UCLA yesterday and now this amazing UT/NDame game tonight!

True. Classic bad non call. And without the helmet it would’ve been a touchdown. Still, ND had several chances to win the game after coming back with three straight touchdowns, and they didn’t, so my hat is off to Texas. But I am proud of the Irish for fighting back the way they did.

And where was the call on the helmet in the end zone?

Yep, that should have been called too. So in the end, it’s pretty much a wash.

And even SMU won, (ok, it was against North Texas, but you’ve got to start somewhere).
