That has most certainly been a great baseball family... and still is!
I actually remember when Cal. Ripkin Sr. played in the Class D. Alabama/Florida League. He played for Pensacola. I still have an official Alabama/Florida League baseball autographed by the entire Panama City Fliers.
It was surprisingly good baseball.
