Women who wear full Islamic garb are more likely to become terrorist suicide bombers, a Central Asian leader has claimed.
President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev said women in his country had been wearing miniskirts for decades "but never thought about wearing an explosive belt".
The premier was making the comments to journalists during a national debate on cultural identity in Kyrgyzstan, where 80% of the population is Muslim.
President Atambayev attacked those who criticise females for wearing less traditional clothing.
The debate was held amid weeks of controversy over government-sponsored adverts in the capital Bishkek encouraging women not to wear orthodox Muslim items such as the hijab, niqab and burka.
The hoardings showed contrasting photos of women in traditional Kyrgyzstan clothing alongside those in Islamic veils.
The caption reads: "Poor people! Where are we heading to?"

I wish there was more that we could do. This, ‘exporting’ of Freedom and Democracy just doesn’t seem to be working.
I DO credit 0bama with bringing a lot of this to light. Our first Muzzie-In-Chief has TOTALLY raised MY awareness of how gawd-awful women in that ‘culture’ are treated. I mean, the ‘beauty’ of Islam has been crammed down our throats 24/7/365 x 8!

The burkha is the ultimate ‘visual symbol of female oppression’.....further it signifies to every radical muslim male that Sharia law trumps any nations laws.
To a muslim the Burka and scarf is the same representation as planting an Islamic flag on our soil, or any nations soil...it’s a visual claim to the Land for Islam.

Basically Muslims encourage less then western women and deserve what they get by making them nothing more then a dog or worse.
Nowhere in Islamic law is the complete hiding of the face and body required. there are in fact very few specific recommendations either in the Qu’ran or any other Islamic scriptures about how a woman should dress.
The burka and the niqab have nothing to do with Islam, they are simply local cultural customs that have achieved the status of religious practice for those who choose to use the as such today.
The origin had to do with the fact mohammed and his hoard were raping woman....
Muslim woman leave much to be desired....there’s a reason muslim men keep them at home while the men find all and any reason not to be there.
