I shook Charlton Heston’s hand

Ditto Hannity...Oliver North ....David Hackworth

Maite Proenca and Luiza Brunet in Brasil.....big actresses 80s

I was friends with Waylon Jesse and Shooter Jennings.....that one actually mattered most given the circumstances

I knew Charles Evers.....still do if I picked up the phone

My dad was friends with Don Meredith and my wife is friends with several famous country music gals here and a very famous Aussie actress....good friends with one in particular.....here in Franklin we all know somebody....I ate dinner tonight with someone who hangs out with Robert Plant...and so forth

Frankly I don’t think about this stuff much

In knew briefly a Hollywood actress in her prime known for long legs and nowadays a bad lip job but she was hot in the 80s

Had a girlfriend in São Paulo who later found notorious work in Van Nuys...lol

And I once at Muzo emerald mine in Colombia met Gonzalo Gacha.......enforcer leader of Medellin cartel with Pablo and Los Ochoas.and watched normally proud and logical grown men tremble and grovel as they incessantly praised him as Patron

A few months later I’m looking at Forbes cocaine barons on an airplane and my partner goes hey isn’t that the guy we ate chivo with at the bull ring festival in Muzo.....with the Panama hat and everyone kissing his ring?

None of that shite means anything

I sat next to Cher at the China Club in Manhattan at a table with Matt Dylan and Michael Hutchence who was playing....

She is short

She smelled

She hit on my partner who looked just like Daniel Day Lewis as Hawkeye in last of the Mohicans

Newt Gingrich
Rosalynn Carter
Sammy Kaye My uncle knew Mr Kaye and I got to conduct his orchestra during a benefit concert when I was a little girl. I think I was about 7. He was very kind to me.
There are a few more, have to think about it.

Newly married, we lived near Westwood in LA and loved the movie crowds at night.

Walked past Ron Howard and his wife in Westwood many moons ago, smiling good naturedly as fans would give him the Fonzi HEEEY.

He’s really short! And a very good sport.

Saw Cloris Leachman once at the Santa Monica DMV during her Mary Tyler Moore days.

Jean Stapleton spoke with us after a talk she gave about her career.
What a totally classy lady.

B. B. King regaled this musician guest in his tour bus Lucille on the gauges of strings he used on his Lucille on Sept. 1 1993.

I think the guy who rode the bike up the stairs in Animal House was supposed to be D-Day, played by Bruce McDill, who was also in My Cousin Vinny with Joe Pesci, Marisa Tomei, and the great Fred Gwynne.

I knew the actor Tom Sizemore when he grew up across the alley from my best buddy in Detroit in the 1960’s. We have a picture of him shoveling snow in front of my buddy’s house.
