Damn, and I was planning to have lunch there too. Right after visiting the Going Out of Business Sale over at the Free Store.
Dumbasses...like their “swishy and enlightened” clientele would give a crap about them? As long as they can take advantage of them as much as they can before the collapse. That’s the commie/socialist way. LOL! Welcome to the real world, idiots.
My late uncle refused to eat corn of any sort because that’s what they used as pig feed in Odessa Russia where he was born and grew up. Later in life, he was a renowned surgeon in Winnipeg Manitoba and very rich and cultured.
Absolutely!!!! Well said!!!
A corollary is that without profit there are no jobs provided or taxes paid, but Lefties still think it’s a dirty word.
I agree. Every liberal I know is obsessed about money.
The French disdain corn on the cob as animal feed, too.
Very true. Learned that from first hand experience.
The more left leaning the more cheap.
Schadenfreudalicious!
There is a Buddhist temple up in Dallas that does the same thing. I heard it was veggie, but very good. They make big bucks off of it and do a underground homeless feeding thing from the money, which is kinda cool. They have to keep it low key lest Dems find out.
Sounds like they’ve succeeded.
After all, its a not-for-profit restaurant, right?
It costs us ...
And break it down
about $4.80 per meal (or whatever)
NO ONE knows the cost of doing business anywhere in the world and we're too lazy to look ...
SO WE GO TO A RESTAURANT AND PAY THE PRICE ADVERTISED !!!!
Socialists are educated stoopids.
I heard of this one guy who traded his birthright for a bowl.
As of 10 minutes ago, 1 Australian dollar = $76.07 U.S.
I agree with that. There’s something about gnawing corn off the cob that’s off putting to me. My kids love it (we live in Minnesota, after all!) so my deal is that I make it one time each summer. Between work and everything else I didn’t get around to it this year, only one of the kids complained.
LOL!
Socialism in a nutshell.
Corn on the cob freezes well and can be microwaved in a container with a little water. I don’t have any reservations about it, love some Silver Queen slathered in dairy butter and black pepper.
