“this is a plant story. It was done to create a crisis in need of a solution.”

It IS a crisis, and it DOES need a solution. Where the heck is your conscience located, up your *ss? This is worst of running a business with no moral compass. This is not capitalism, it is price gouging in the extreme, and people will die because of it. Dems without morals.

BINGO!!!

This has been framed as an issue of patients being denied a life saving medication. That is simply not true. The Epi-pen is about the delivery system, not the med itself. There is no way I could afford such a high co-pay. I could afford needles, pre-filled syringes or single dose vials of epinephrine.

It is not “Epi-pen or die.” There are other options although not as convenient as an Epi-pen. It takes less thought & skill for a patient to use a prefilled auto injector than it does to learn how to fill a syringe with an appropriate dosage of a particular medication. Diabetics, especially those on a sliding scale, do it all the time.

The solution lies in patient education about other ways to administer epinephrine in an emergency.
