HOUSTON - A son fatally shot an alleged teen robber as he was showing off his new pistol to his dad at their home in east Houston, police say.

It happened in a neighborhood on Majestic at Market around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Houston Police Department Sgt. Thomas Simmons.

Simmons said the son and dad were in their backyard looking at the new pistol when two juvenile suspects, around 15 or 16 years old, approached them.

Is there any reason not to?

Don't you think it might be more likely that the shooter was carrying concealed without a permit?

“That’s if you believe the shooter’s version of events.”

That’s if you believe the shooter’s version of events.

What reason is there not to believe him? Tell us what you know.
